Once your child has been accepted into a school, the next stage is to apply for a visa. Applying for a visa can be complicated but our UK and international educational consultants will be able to guide you through the process smoothly.

All international students living in the UK for more than 6 months need to apply for a Tier 4 student visa before their departure. Students aged between 4 and 17 can apply for a Tier 4 (Child) student visa whereas students aged 16 or above can apply for a Tier 4 (General) student visa. The type of visa required depends on the category of courses at the school. Details can normally be found in the Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies (CAS) issued by the school. Nevertheless, our UK and international educational consultant will ensure that your application is correct.

Since January 2014, Hong Kong residents staying in the UK for more than 6 months (other than children aged under 11) are required to take the Tuberculosis Test in the assigned clinics by UK Visa and immigration. The result is valid for six months and students must ensure that it is valid on their day of departure, as they are required to show the certificate (or the photocopy) to immigration officers when they enter the UK.
