Boarding and Pastoral Care for students:

The accommodation for long-term students consists of a charming, Georgian residential house set in the heart of the city. At Oxford house offer full board accommodation for students who are 14+ years of age. Resident members of staff are always present to ensure students’ safety, happiness and progress.

Oxford House has both single and shared rooms which are allocated on a strictly ‘first come, first served’ basis. The bedrooms are well furnished, centrally heated and are cleaned each week, including new bed linen. All houses are non-smoking.

Pastoral care at Bath Academy is of the highest priority to ensure our students’ happiness and fulfilled ambitions. To effectively meet the personal, academic, and social wellbeing of students and staff is paramount to the framework of our college.

Extracurricular Activities:

Bath Academy’s Social Activities Programme includes a wide range of fun and stimulating activities designed to suit all tastes; from paint-balling to afternoon tea, kayaking to Quiz nights, the Academy’s social calendar is created to suit all tastes and ages.  The varied programme of parties, sports and trips away give students the opportunity to meet new people, build their confidence, and enjoy their life as a student in Bath.

The extra-curricular activities change each term, depending on the current group of students’ interests

Chess Clubs, Dungeons & Dragons, Conversation Clubs for those wanting extra help in English,Mindfulness sessions to combat exam stress.They host many different student events throughout the year, from International Parties to ice skating trips, BBQ’s in our Chapel Row Garden, and of course the fun karaoke and quiz nights
