Durham School is an co-educational boarding School which is located in Durham, a city in northeast England. Durham is full of classical atmosphere and beautiful environment. Durham University, one of the top universities in the UK, has a particularly strong learning atmosphere. In addition to good public test scores, many local students are attracted to Durham School for their outstanding musical and sports achievements. About half of the boarding students on campus are international students from 20 countries, which is good for learning English and understanding different social cultures. 
 

Academic Success:

The school provides Secondary One to Secondary Seven courses and the 1-Year GCSE course. In the past three years (2016-2019), more than 60% of Durham School's college entrance examinations in the UK have achieved A*-B, and 31% A*-A  ,they have performed well. 

University Destination:

Some students can successfully go to top universities such as Durham and Cambridge.

Durham School students have many opportunities to study abroad. In order to enhance the interest of learning, the school has arranged learning activities such as the Iceland Geographical Expedition and the French History Expedition to allow students to learn from the experience. In terms of extra-curricular activities, the school hosts the Alps Skiing Group every year, and previously organized Ecuador, Borneo and India tour groups. The rich opportunities to go abroad give students precious and unforgettable experiences. The school also provides the Combined Cadet Force and Duke of Edinburgh's Award to establish a cooperative spirit among students, strengthen personal discipline, and learn to respect and understand.
