School Profile:

Princess Helena College is an exceptional girl school for 11-18 years old. The College is located in a beautiful and pristine environment in 183 acres of Hertfordshire countryside, though the School’s origins are firmly rooted in London.

Academic Success:

All pupils are assisted to achieve their full potential through small class sizes, excellent teaching and additional support where necessary. A broad curriculum and an impressive range of subjects ensure that girls really are spoilt for choice. In Years 7–11, all girls benefit from regular individual meetings with their Head of Key Stage, while meetings with Academic Tutors in the sixth form ensure that targets are consistently met. The academic curriculum is supported by SCITLLE (Serve, Create, Inspire, Thrive, Lead, Learn, Explore) enrichment programme which includes an exciting range of activities, clubs, visits and events. This project serves to ensure that girls’ become intellectually curious and value knowledge for its own sake.

University Destination:

Boarding and Pastoral Care for students:

The School’s size ensures that every girl in the school is known personally by staff, and friendships are formed within as well as across year groups. Excellent pastoral care and a genuine community feel at the School ensure that girls thrive in the charming surroundings.

Extracurricular Activities:

PHC develops its girls' interpersonal and practical skills so they become leaders in a competitive world.  They encourage girls to try out new activities, as well as improving and expanding existing passions, so they broaden and deepen their interests. High quality coaching, alongside extensive facilities, allow girls to participate in a wide range of sporting activities.
